Princess and The Puppy Dog: The Bad Puppy

So, as you should remember from last time, The Princess found a puppy to keep her company. She wasn’t any pure bread-top-of-the-line dog but a pound puppy. She named her Puppy Dog.

Now the puppy used to be a very bad puppy, going to parties in the streets and causing trouble. Every once in a while the puppy would sneak out and go be the bad puppy she use to be. This made the Princess very upset. Today was one of those days.

The Princess came home from theather practice and was really tired from rehearsing “Romeo and Juliet”. She wanted to play with her puppy and unwind, but when she went to pick the puppy up from her bed she noticed she wasn’t there. She began to search the castle for her Puppy Dog. She wasn’t hiding in her room or her closet. She wasn’t in the kitchen watching the cook and she wasn’t outside watching the gardener. She went to the King and Queen to ask what happeded to her adorable fluffy puppy.

The King and Queen said that they saw Puppy Dog run out of the house about and hour ago. The Princess was very worried so she grabbed her coat and ran out of the castle in search of her puppy. Her Puppy Dog hasn’t left the castle walls since she first came to the castle with the Princess. The Princess was very scared that something bad might happen to her.

The Princess went down to the marketplace where she first met her Puppy Dog. She looked under venders benches and  in the ally ways. In one of the allys there were a lot of scruffy looking street dogs and among them was her Puppy Dog. “Puppy DOG!”, the Princess screamed with tears filling her eyes. “Why are you down here? Don’t you love me?” The Puppy Dog looked at her Princess crying, she felt bad for running off. When the puppy walked over to the Princess, she ran back towards the castle crying.

The puppy didn’t know what to do. She looked up at the castle on the hill where her beloved Princess lived, then she looked to the dogs in the ally that she has always been friends with. She thought about how her Princess looked at her, and the tears and pain she casued her. Puppy Dog told the dogs that she will never see them again, and took off towards the castle, her home.

Inside the castle the Princess was laying on her bed, holding her puppy’s leash, wondering what she could of done wrong. She had the whole castle to play in, a warm bed to sleep in, food to eat, and a compainion for life. The Princess didn’t know where she failed. As she was thinking to herself, Puppy Dog slowly came into her room. When the Princess saw her she started to cry again. The Puppy Dog whined, she wanted to comfort her and make her feel better like she’s always done. The puppy jumped up on the great big bed and curled up by the Princess’s side. “Princess”, the Puppy Dog started. “I didn’t mean to run off. I told those dogs that I will never see them again, and I mean that Princess. I truely do.” The Princess looked over at her puppy and attached her leash to her shiny collar. “Your never leaving my sight again”, sobbed the Princess as she hugged her Puppy dog.

The Puppy Dog cuddled up to her Princess and kept her safe all through the night. Just like she will do every night for the rest of forever…

Just Put Me In A Bubble

I swear my other half, my partner, my soul mate thinks I should be kept in a bubble. I can’t see half my friends because she is jealous and is scared to death that they will take me from her. Really? Like really? You don’t trust me enough with my friends that you are making me get rid of all of them. Ugh!

One of my best guy friends is like a big brother to me, and guess what? I can’t talk to him anymore! I am so tore up.

I’m think I should invest in a gigantic plastic bubble, safe non-toxic crayons, organic baby food, and paper that doesn’t give you paper cuts and live in there. That’s probably what she’s gonna do eventually, I might as well save my dignity and do it myself. I mean I don’t know what to do anymore. I can’t take this. Maybe I should go to consouling again. I don’t know.

And remember kids do not eat crayons, they are not food.

To Make or Not to Make a Fish Dress

So my prom dress with fish in it might be on pause, which makes me very upset. My mother was all whiney about it, she said that she isn’t going to let me do it. Well at the end of this month i’m gonna get my permit, and when I get my junior license 6 months later I’m gonna look for a job and I will earn my own monery to make my awesome dress. So take that!

I mean its my prom, and I can wear what I want, if that may be a dress with little fishies inside it then so be it. You can’t stop me! Mwhahahahahaha!

I really don’t know how i’m going to keep these fish alive in my dress. When i’m dancing my fishies are gonna be hitting against my dress, kinda like when little kids shake their goldfish bags and they go belly up. I don’t want them to go belly up! So I need some help with designs.

Fish Dress!!

Today in Spanish class I was learning Spanish things and me and my Spanish teacher came across the subject of belts with fish in them and how there used to be platform shows with fish in them..well…my brillant mind came up with a fantastical idea.

In two years I will be a senior and I will be going to prom (hopefully with my boo, I love you boo ). And I want a super fantasic amazing dress that no one would think of…A dress with LIVE fish in it!!! I can’t even believe I came up with this idea. It is so amazingly amazing.  Now, I have two years to plan and construct this masterpiece.

I am concerned about some things with my dress, like what if I sit on them and I squish them, I think I would cry. And I know Betta fish attack each other and kill them, and I don’t want angry fish killing other fish inside my dress. I also don’t want my fish mating inside my dress. I don’t even know how fish do that!

So I came up with the awesome idea to make seperate bubbles and put a fish in each one. OR make tubes and put a fish in each tube. I dont know yet, but all I know it’s gonna be super awesome!!

Part 7: Consciousness

This is the last section of the book.

Connor was in a coma and he was sent to the hospital to get fixed up after the Clapper explosion (BOOM!). The big bad security guard that was escorting him to the unwind room was blown up in the explosion and his identity was given to Connor. His new name is old enough so he can’t get unwound anymore. That’s the good news. The bad news is that he got Roland’s eye and his arm with the tiger shark tattoo.

Risa fractured her spin and was offered an unwind spine and she turned it down so now she can’t walk and is in a wheelchair, that’s the bad news. The good news is now that she is disabled she can’t be unwound either. Yay! They can be a happy  little couple now and not worry about being unwound.

The good news for Lev is that he can’t be unwound either and everyone is praising him for not exploding and saving his friends. The bad news is that he is locked in a padded room because the liquid explosive is still in his blood. The explosive will stay with him for the rest of his life.

Connor and Risa take over the Graveyard and help keep kids from getting unwound. Admiral lives in his house back in Texas with his wife.

They are throwing a birthday party for their son that would be 26 but they had unwound whern he was younger. They found all the parts of their son and invited all the owners of the parts to the party. Embry has his lungs and they all wear name tags that says whoch part they have. They all remember things about his son and have a great time.

The unwound age has beeen lowered to 17, so if you are 17 you can no longer be unwound. 

And that’s the end of the book. I heard some rumors that he is working on a second book and when it is out, I wilit and read it and blog to you guys again.



Unwind Part 6

Part 6: Unwound

So Risa and Connor arvive at the Happy Jack Harvest Camp because they helped the Admiral get to a hospital so he would survive his heart attack as I told you in the last part.

As they are showed around the campus, they notice that exercise in a main part of their time at the harvest camp. At the sport courts, there are cameras that watch every players moves, and if there aren’t cameras, there are people with clipboards montering there movements.

Everyone at the camp thinks that Connor is the AWOL that shot the juvey-cop with his on gun and liberated harvest camps (which the first part is true) and that he is going to set everyone free, which is not true.

The Happy Jack Harvest Camp staff keeps Roland, Connor, and Risa away from each other so they can’t make an escape plan.

Later Lev shows up along with his two buddies that they went to Alaska to “oil drill”. They talk about going up with a bang and Lev is taking extra care while exercising by wearing extra sock s and making sure his footfalls are soft and gentle.

The first one from our group to be unwound is Roland (yeeessss!!). He is given medicine for pain, and told that he will be kept awake during the whole process but becasue of this medicine he will not feel a thing. They take his blood first and replace it with a oxygen-rich sythetic that is green in color. The surgeons work from his feet up.

Now imagine, it you were there on the table, feeling no pain but completely awake. Just laying there, not being able to run away or tell them no, Watching your body be taken apart piece after peice. I think I would panic and go into a seizure or something.

As the surgeons work their way up the body, the parts of the table are taken apart until it is left with just one section and his head. Now This part really got to me. They are taking apart his brain, peice by peice, and as the peices are taken apart Roland becomes less aware of himself and what is going on. I just couldn’t imagine to lose myself that way. That would be completely horrible.

We were told before Roland’s unwinding that Connor would be after him, and he is escorted to the red carpet into the building where he would be unwound.

Lev and his two crazy friends, are clappers. A Clapper is a person who injects their blood with a liquid explosive that will explode when detonated. They have these band-aid sixe detonators, that are going to be placed on their hands so when they clap the will explode, hence the name Clappers.

Lev told his friends that he wanted to go off before Connor’s unwinding so he will not have to go through that. The two of Lev’s get into the building and wait for Lev to go off first. But, everyone starts clapping outside for Connor and, a security guard comes in and pushes the boy Clapper and he goes off so the girl Clapper goes off. The building colapses, and Risa falls into the building and Connor is trapped inside. Lev doesn’t explode and goes in to rescue his friends. Connor is missing an eye and an arm.

We don’t find out the state that Risa is in.

Part 5: Graveyard

The AWOL unwinds that are now at the garveyard face a tribunal of the the three top kids of the Admiral. They tell the three what they are goo at so they can be assigned jobs. Connor becomes a mechanic, Risa was almost a dishwasher but she became a medic becasue she treated the kid that Connor punched in the face when they were loading into the crates in the last part. Roland that little..grrr..he is tricking everyone and using his “charm” and “personality” to work his way up in the ranks like he does every place he goes and is now learning how to fly a helicopter by the Admiral’s personal piolet, Cleaver.

The new kids at the graveyard learn the ins and outs of unwind life. Every so often they have something called a work call. This is where unwinds volunteer to work in the real world in exchange for an 18 year old identity when they are finished.

There are rumors going around, that are started by Roland, that the Admiral’s perfectly white teeth are from an unwind that was at the graveyard but the Admiral sent him off to a harvest camp just so he could have his teeth. There is another rumor that all the scars on his body are grafting scars that he got from taking parts of the kids he is trying to save.

When I first read this, I believed it. Wouldn’t that just suck? These kids came from all over the country to this place called the Graveyard where they thought they were going to be finally safe from the mean real world only to meet the same fate. I think that would suck, but it would be a good book. Just saing.

Now our friend Lev has showed up at the Graveyard. No one knows how she got there but he doesn’t even look like himself. Connor couldn’t even recgonize him the first time he saw him.

The Admiral calls Connor to his plane to fix his coffee maker, which was never broke at all it just needed plugged in the wall. The Admiral tells Connor that he has been hearing a lot about him recently. From the stuff he fixes to the fights he starts. The Admiral then talks about how he knows Connor doesn’t like him. He tells him that the teeth he has are called dentures, and that this was how people got new teeth before there were Unwinds. Connor feels better about the Admiral and the Admiral gains trust in Connor. He takes him to see 5 dead bodies. The bodies are from the Golden Five, the five kids that help run the Graveyard. He tells Connor he wants him to spy for him, so they can figure out who killed them.

They also talk about the Heartland War and the Bill of Life. In the Heartland war there were three sides, the Pro Life forces, the Pro Choice forces, and the American troops to make sure no one was killed. Well that didn’t last long. Then, after awhile the Bill of Life was suggested hoping both sides would see how ridiculous they were being but it didn’t work like that. They accepted the Bill and that was the new law.

Lev, our friend who magically appeared at the Graveyard, meets up with Cleaver and two other kids. They say they want to shake things up and cause trouble, but we don’t know exactly what kind of trouble yet.

A work call for oil workers in Alaska is taken by Lev and his two friends that he met from Cleaver. Risa and Connor find this very strange and try to talk Lev out of it.

Connor believes that Roland killed the Golden 5 (so did I, well I blame him for eveyrthing ) He locks him in the same crate that the 5 were found in and close it up. He tries to make him admit to killing them, but he doesn’t. he admits other tiny things but it’s not what Connor wants to hear.

Hayden finds Connor and says the unwinds have gone crazy and are attacking the Admiral’s plane which he learns Risa is also inside because she was delivering asprin. The Admiral has a heart attack, Cleaver admits to killing the Golden 5, and Roland flies the helicopter to the hospital so they can save the Admiral.

At the hospital, Juvey-cops take Roland, Risa, and Connor and send them to the Harvest Camp.

Prediction: Roland will get unwound!!!!!

Princess and The Puppy Dog

Once upon a time, there was a princess in a far away kingdom. She was very loney and sad. And one day she went to the King and Queen and told them about her delemia. She requested to see every puppy in the kingdom so she would have a friend.The King and Queen agreed to make their Princess happy again.

The next day all the puppies without owners lined up in front of teh castle gates waiting to be inspecting by the Princess. Puppies from all over the land came to see her. It took the whole day to go through all of them. The big puppies were too big for the princess and the small puppies were too small. The fluffy ones weren’t fluffy enough and the really fluffy puppies were too fluffy. None of the puppies fit the Princess’ expectations. When the day was over she went back up to her tower and went to be puppy-less.

The next morning the Princess left her castle and headed to the market. She was looking at all the wonderful stands that her people have made. She does this every Saturday morning, but this Saturday was different. While she was looking at her favorite fruit stand, a little stray brown puppy came out from under the stand and looked up at the Princess. This was not one of the puppies that came to the castle yesterday, she would of remembered if this puppy was there.

The puppy had beautiful brown fur and deep brown eyes. The Princess fell in love with this little puppy. She went to go pick it up but it ran away. The Princess was so sad, the stand manager told her to come back tomorrow with a dog bone and give it to the puppy. So the next morning the Princess came back to her favorite fruit stand and looked for the puppy, and there it was under the stand. She bent down and held the dog treat out for the scared puppy it came over to her and took the treat. When it was done eating the treat it didn’t run away.

“Come here puppy, I won’t hurt you”, said the Princess. The puppy started to walk toward the Princess. When the puppy reached her the Princess reached out to pet her, and when she did the puppy started to trust the Princess.

The puppy had a hard life, always being told that stray puppies don’t belong in the market and that she doesn’t belong anywhere. But the Princess found her and now she wanted to belong somewhere, with the Princess.

The Princess took her to the castle and made her a bed next to hers. “This is your home now Puppy Dog. You’re my puppy now”, the Princess told the puppy. Puppy Dog  jumped up on the bed with the Princess and promised that because she saved her, she would make sure nothing ever happened to the Princess as long as she was here.

Part 4: Destinations

So the pretty little bracelet that Lev didn’t bury and used against CyFi, is now behind sold at a pawn shop. Lev and the pawnbroker argue back and forth for  a long time over a price. Then, when they settle on a price, Lev makes the pawnbroker take him to the back where he keeps the safe. Once the safe is open Lev knocks the guy out and takes all the money in the safe, leaving the diamond bracelet inside. Yeah! That’s my man Lev!

Anyways, back at the warehouse the unwinds are being packed into crates. Four per crate, boys with boys, and girls with girls. Connor tries to avoid being packed into a crate with Roland and his little group but it happens anyway. He is afraid that while they are in the little crate Roland will pull his hand-made knife on him and kill him. To avoid this he punches one of Roland’s followers in the nose and one of the Fatigues throws him into another crate and he doesn’t get to see who’s in there with him before it is sealed. After talking with his new box mates he finds out that, Hayden (a kid from Sonia antique shop), the “mouth breather” or Embry, and Diego were with him. The three talk about unwinding, death, and a bunch of other sad things.

In Risa crate she doesn’t remember who is in there with her, but she talks of similar topics. Once they reach their destination, they get fresh air and they hear rumors of five kids that died in their crate from suffocation. They suffocated because there was only enough air in the crate for 4 people. Risa starts freaking out because she is worried it was Connor. But then she sees Connor and it’s okay.

They find out they have reached the graveyard, they meet the Admiral. He is the guy that runs the graveyard. He tells them to get new clothes and supplies and to head to the new comers plane (it’s a plane graveyard) to get ready to be processed so they can find their job in the graveyard.

Now our two friends Lev and crazy CyFi are reaching Joplin. The closer they get to Joplin, the more Cyrus’ face starts twitching. Once in Joplin they search every street until CyFi’s crazy brain piece recognizes something. It remembers the ice cream shop, and his favorite pumpkin ice cream. And the direction to his school and to his house.

Personally I never had pumpkin ice cream, but I want to look for it now. It doesn’t sound that bad, just saying.

They take the road to the brain piece’s house, and there is a cop car there and CyFi’s dads (just to clear something up, CyFi is adopted and his parents are gay). He starts twitching and his brain piece takes over and controls his body. He is now Cy-Ty! The kid who’s brain CyFi got was named Tyler. Cy-Ty goes to his back yard and digs up a briefcase full of shiny jewelry and gives it to his parents and cries, telling them he will do anything just don’t have him unwound. Tyler’s brain does not understand that he has already been unwound and that he is in another persons body.

His parents promise that they won’t unwind him and the normal CyFi comes back. Lev hits the road before the cops figure out he is a AWOL unwind.

Predictions: Roland has a defective brain piece and is actually a girl.

Part 3: Transit

Part three opens with Lev walking with his new friend CyFi down the railroad tracks. CyFi’s real name is Cyrus Finch. CyFi is a person of color or in this book “umber”. He met Lev, or Fry as Cyrus calls him, at the mall one day when he was trying to get some food at the food court. Since he didn’t have any money he was eating the leftovers from a cheerleader. This is where Cyrus comes in and shows him how to get real food without eating other people’s garbage.

CyFi tells Fry that he has a IQ of 155 but that changed when he got into a motorcycle accident and got brain damage. He was taken to the hospital and needed a new brain, so his dads bought a whole temporal lobe instead of him getting a bunch of brain bits from unwinds. The kid that he got the brain from had an IQ that was a lot lower than Cyrus’ so his IQ dropped to 130.

This kid is still pretty smart, I dont even know what my IQ is but im pretty sure its not that high.

Since Cy confided in him Lev tells him that he is…well was a tithe. They find a nice adbandoned railroad house to stay in and eat road kill. Yum!

The next day they continue to Joplin, when Lev asks why they are going to Joplin he doesn’t answer. That makes Lev wonder why they are going to Joplin. This also makes him think becasue once they reach Joplin Lev will be on his own again.

When they get to a small townCyrus goes into a Christmas store and takes a golden bulb. He freaks out and leaves the store and runs around in circles until he stops at a playground. Lev finds him under a slide with his face twitching. He tells him to go into his hoodie pocket and get something. He pulls out a golden lighter. Then he reaches into the other one and finds a golden diamond bracelet.

He tells him to bury the shiny gold things which he does but he keeps the shiny bracelet to use against CyFi later.

Later that night they break into a motel and stay for the night. Lev takes out the bracelet and waves it in Cyrus’ face until he tells his story. The brain that Cyrus got still thinks it is in its own body, and it has these moments when Cy can see what this kid is feeling. It was the kid’s brain that made him steal all the shiny objects.

Now we are back to our favorite to be unwinds!

They end up in a huge empty warehouse in an air-traffic zone. There are three big adults that quard the place with big guns, they are called “the Fatigues”. Everytime a new batch of kids shows up they start searching for Lev. Of course they don’t find him because he’s roaming around with his crazy friend CyFi.

While Connor and Risa are looking for Lev, everyone else is looking for the Akron AWOL. Which is actually Connor, but rumors spread around that he is this amazing AWOL unwind who is going around liberating harvest camps.

Bad news guys, Roland is in the warehouse. Why can’t he just get unwound already. Jeeze. If you ever read this book I hope you hate him as much as me. I can’t stand this kid. Like..grrr.

Connor and Risa talk about feelings and Roland. How Roland is gaining everyone’s trust yada yada yada. And how he is trying to bait Connor to a fihgt.

On Christmas day, dinner is late and Risa goes to the bathroom (that doesn’t lock) to get some private time. Then Roland comes in being his big bad self and pushes her up against the wall. He talks about doing things, getting her pregnant and. Then she screams and Connor comes in and does nothing! He just stands there and says him and Risa “broke up” (they were never together in the first place). Then he walks away. He says later that he thought Roland was just trying to bait him ti fight just like Risa said.

Which was true, grrr Roland.

Predictions: Roland gets unwound and little kids throw pie at him.
